ACRRM Mental Health Disorders Training.
The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is hosting a workshop on Mental Health Disorders Training for Rural Health Practitioners (MHST) here in Adelaide on Friday, 25 August 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Adelaide.
Presented by Dr Louise Stone, this one day face-to-face workshop covers depression, anxiety and somatisation, through to correct use of medication and understanding patient treatment care plans. It will equip you with:
- a better understanding of mental health issues and how to treat them in a GP setting
- access to Medicare Items 2715 and 2717.
This course is eligible for Rural Procedural Grants for registered doctors to claim $2,000 and RACGP QI and CPD 40 points — Category 1 plus BLS requirement.
