ACRRM Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST).

The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is hosting a Rural Emergency Skills Training (REST) here in Adelaide on 24-25 June 2017 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor.

Each REST course is limited to 20 participants who are taken through a series of realistic scenarios in small groups by qualified, experienced rural emergency medicine instructors. Content is directly relevant to the pre-hospital, small rural hospital and private rural practice environments.

This accredited face-to-face hands-on course utilises clinical knowledge and protocols for training in adult and paediatric medical emergencies and adult and paediatric trauma.

Participants are assessed via pre-training and post-training MCQs and some in-training scenarios.
