At the end of this education session, participants will be able to:

• Build confidence in the acute management of patients who are suicidal within your practice.
• Identify modifiable risk factors in patients who are suicidal.
• Recognise resources within your area to assist with the management of patients who are suicidal.
• Implement strategies for follow up of mental health patients through practice recall systems.

This event is for GPs, Registrars, Nurses and other Primary Health Care Professionals and has been allocated two (2) core Professional Development Program (PDP) points with ACRRM and four (4) CPD Program points with RACGP for the 2020 – 2022 triennium.
