At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Explain the risks and consequences of polypharmacy,
- Identify tools for assessing patients with polypharmacy,
- Identify particular medicines that present significant risks to older patients, and
- Analyse complex patient cases involving polypharmacy to determine appropriate action, including de-prescribing where beneficial.
