Webinar: Understanding the KFP Exam Changes

Date: Tuesday, 29 October
Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Adelaide time)
Host: Dr Maya Luks and Dr Marny Royans

This webinar will delve into the exam changes, offer practical tips for adjusting your study approach, and provide a platform to have your questions answered.

What’s Changing?

  • No More Short-Answer Questions: The exam will now consist entirely of scenario-based questions.
  • 70 Scenario-Based Questions: Prepare for 70 questions featuring multiple-selection options (e.g., “choose 4 from the following 20 options”).
  • Emphasis on Clinical Reasoning: Questions will be closely aligned with the RACGP curriculum and syllabus, promoting an integrated learning approach.
  • Equal Weighting: Each question will contribute 1.43% to your total score.

How Does It Affect You?

These updates aim to enhance the focus on clinical reasoning, a vital aspect of your professional practice. The new structure is designed to mirror real-world scenarios more accurately, ensuring preparedness for everyday challenges.
