GPEx is proud to have worked with the Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer (ACPCC) and the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care to deliver the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) Educational Modules, a comprehensive, evidence-based learning package now available to healthcare professionals nationwide.

These modules were designed to empower general practitioners and nurses with the latest knowledge in cervical screening and to prepare them for the updated National Cervical Screening Program Guidelines released in April 2025. The education aligns with Australia’s mission to achieve one of the world’s lowest rates of cervical cancer.

Through a series of engaging, self-paced modules, participants can:

  • Master new and upcoming cervical screening guidelines
  • Strengthen understanding of HPV, cervical anatomy, and prevention strategies
  • Learn about HPV testing and self-collection methods
  • Gain confidence in communicating with under-screened and at-risk populations

Developed collaboratively by ACPCC and the Department of Health and Aged Care, and hosted by GPEx, this high-quality training equips health professionals with the tools to provide effective, patient-centred screening, ultimately contributing to the elimination of cervical cancer as a public health issue.
