Connecting the Dots!

We know that working in palliative care is about helping people to live, die and grieve well and that the teams who do this are made up of many different roles and people. We appreciate the significant role that Palliative Medicine Specialists, GPs, Nurses, SA Ambulance ECPs, Allied Health Professionals, Families and Carers and many more play.

You know the special things that happen as part of palliative care; every day and even amidst and following a pandemic.

This interactive session is the perfect forum to seek new knowledge, become familiar with new management options, and to identify opportunities to translate the best evidence into clinical excellence. Networking, discussing and socialising with peers adds further dimension to the experience.

Our Presenters will highlight the significant advancements in pain management for the palliative patient facing end-of-life, as well as discussing effective palliation with radiotherapy, and the latest developments in research, treatment and care for the future.

Presentations By:

  • Dr Jeremy Khong – Radiation Oncologist Registrar
  • Dr Linda Foreman – Palliative Medicine Consultant
  • Dr Susan Haynes – Palliative Medicine Specialist
