Postponement of GP Shared Care Programs CPD Activities
As we are sure that you would agree, the Coronavirus presents a significant risk to attendees of ‘face to face’ events, particularly the gathering of our GPs from General Practice and the large number and diversity of patients each GP sees and is exposed to.
The safety of our GPs attending GP Partners Australia’s CPD Activities, our much appreciated presenters and our own team is extremely important to us, as is the ongoing functioning and viability of our GPs Practices and continuing patient care.
As such, we have made the decision to postpone both our GP Obstetric Shared Care Accreditation Seminar, booked for Saturday 28th March and the GP Palliative Shared Care, Orientation Seminar booked for the 4th of April. We will reschedule these CPD Activities, and we will keep you updated as soon as we are able to make firm arrangements.
This has been a difficult decision and one not made lightly and we recognise that it imposes a significant inconvenience for all our GPs attending these events. However, whilst the risk may be small, the potential consequences to the wider community could be significant.
We will continue to be in contact with you and our presenters over the coming days with more details regarding the event’s re-scheduling later in the year.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Leanne March
GP Shared Care Programs Manager
