We’re on the Road: Boosting Bowel Cancer Screening Across Australia
GPEx has hit the road as part of a national education campaign in partnership with the Australian Government to help increase bowel cancer screening rates across Australia.
We kicked off our National Bowel Cancer Screening dinner workshops in Adelaide in August and have since visited Darwin, Dubbo, Canberra Sydney, Canberra and Hobart with more city and regional locations coming soon.
These practical, CPD-accredited workshops for healthcare professionals focus on helping practices audit and improve bowel cancer screening uptake, supporting earlier detection and better outcomes for patients.
Attendee feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants describing the expert presentations as engaging, informative and easy to follow. Many have also enjoyed the opportunity to network with peers over dinner while sharing ideas on how to drive screening participation in their communities.
